Cleanest Grocery store / market I've ever seen great customer service
I have always loved Star Market, as a very young kid I shopped at the only one there was, which is still open today in 5 points, in Huntsville. But since I moved to the county and the 2nd Star opened I do most of our shopping there including all perceptions needed. In the pharmacy they all know you by name. I love the personal way they treat you there. And Start Market is one of the very, very few grocery stores that still has real butchers in the meat department and prices in the meat dep. You can't beat. Like 2 pounds of Hamburg at Walmart is over $15.°° at Star you get the huge family package over 5 pounds for $7.°° and this is for the better 80/20 & 90/10 grinds not cheap type. Everyone has always been great towards me and my family. When the kids dad was really sick with the cancer, there's a wonderful man always there an cares, he'd say if you need his medications and not able to come pick it up I will bring it to you either on my lunch or after I get off. Now you tell me how the big chains would ever offer to do this little more actually mean it. I'll always be a Star Market person, OH if you are Military tell the cashier at checkout and always get a 10 % discount on your groceries. : ) Melissa Clark
Low Prices. Not the place to get fresh fresh produce. They have boiled peanuts. I like the store because it has a retro small town feel.
Small local grocery store with very friendly and helpful staff. Competitive prices on most items. Great place for getting necessities though they don't carry a lot of exotic ingredients.
A small town store. big enough to have what you need. Small enough to get great service. Meat is awesome.
